Speaker Sessions

What is the New Normal?

In this session, David expands on the lessons he learnt from the turnaround at Asda during his time there, and gives real-life examples so you can prepare your business for the post-Covid19 new normal.

David has over 35 years corporate experience of change management, the last 15 years of which were spent in the turnaround of the Asda Retail Business. Asda has been transformed from a bankrupt broken business to the highly successful retailer it is today, and has also achieved the status of being the “Best Place to Work” in the UK Sunday Times Survey. David and his team led many of the changes which created a highly productive performance based culture, and laid the foundations for commercial success. Today, David is a highly respected author, business speaker and consultant. He has also been requested to mentor a limited number of CEOs and HRDs. He is Chairman of the Board of Institute for Employment Studies.

Creating Greater Impact with your Communications

Ask someone why they clean their teeth, and they will probably mutter something about ‘dental hygiene’. Yet, if this is true, why is someone more likely to clean their teeth when going on a date than when they’ve just eaten a bar of chocolate? And why is most toothpaste mint flavoured?

Having the insight as to what really drives buyer behaviour will allow you to have greater impact, create better results and achieve more success.

Do you want to:
• Generate messages that resonate with prospects and drive enquires?
• Have a deeper understanding of your buyers, enabling you to be more effective?
• Provide customer experiences that leave a lasting impression and win business?

• Have better internal communications with your teams?

This workshop will provide attendees with:
• The understanding of how people buy
• A methodology for creating better customer experience whether on the phone, on Zoom, when writing or in a face-to-face meeting
• A mechanism for having your sales messages be remembered and resonate
• A framework for understanding what customers really want
