Speaker Sessions

Current Issues, Ideas & Opportunities in Estate Agency

In this session, Richard facilitates discussion among group members to work on the issues, ideas and opportunities that they face today. Richard uses a methodology developed by Property Academy that is proven to provide participants with:

  • access to the best business minds to help solve their issues;
  • a different perspective to provide alternative options and enable better decision-making;
  • the benefit of the experience, ideas and recommendations of other business owners in the same industry sector;
  • practical solutions that have been proven to work in other businesses

This is a working session where we’ll tackle real business issues using our proprietary issue processing formula, to tap into the knowledge of the room generating new perspectives, ideas and solutions.

Richard began his career as a junior negotiator “an unspecified number of decades ago”. He opened Northfields in 1986 and grew it to four offices during its first twenty years. He has a strong attachment to the West London area, has been the President of the Ealing Chamber of Commerce, Rotary President and is a Trustee of The Log Cabin charity (for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities). Having recently sold Northfields to Leaders Romans Group, Richard is now working with Property Academy as a Trusted Advisor and Chair to share his knowledge and experience with our members.

Performance Chemistry - How to be your own CEO (Chief Energy Officer)

Wellness is paramount in the future of work. In order to survive and thrive, now and in the future, businesses should harness the potential of wellness by aligning work environments and cultures with employees’ personal values, motivations and wellness needs. The truth is that the global workforce is unwell, and we cannot afford it. The annual economic cost of sickness, absence and worklessness are estimated to be over £100 billion per annum. This is greater than the current annual budget for the NHS.
