10:00 start
This Group Leadership meeting, hosted by Libby Brook, will feature an accomplished speaker for a full-day presentation and workshop. Our members, fast-tracking their journey to becoming future business leaders, are invited to participate.
Hacking the Human Mind is an engaging and highly accessible exploration of the psychological forces that shape our decisions every day.
Author of The Choice Factory, The Illusion of Choice and Hacking the Human mind, Richard specialises in applying behavioural science to marketing. He has worked in marketing for 25 years and over that time, he has advised a wide variety of clients from Amazon to Zwift. Richard writes a monthly column for Marketing Week, called Why it Works, and co-hosts the podcast Behavioural Science for Brands. In both outlets he focusses on turning complex, academic ideas into simple and practical marketing applications.
“Richard’s workshop had a perfect blend of academic and business insight, whilst being
thoroughly engaging. He builds on the behavioural biases that marketers can exploit to
influence consumers (which were so brilliantly articulated in The Choice Factory) and then
workshops the biases around live business challenges. The feedback from my marketing team
has been phenomenal and we will definitely work with Richard on future projects!”
Nick Ashworth, Marketing Director, DFS Furniture
“We love working with Rich for WARC’s events. When he presents, we know we’re
guaranteed three things – 1) a fascinating set of insights, 2) evidence and examples to back
up all the theory and, 3) a crowd in raptures to hear what he says next!”
